Attorneys and Staff
Liz Franciscus graduated from the University of Southern California with honors. She received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego specializing in Civil Litigation. Liz gained experience with corporate law, contract and real property law before becoming employed as a Senior Family Law paralegal in 1999. Liz has been working with Mr. Johnson directly on high asset/high conflict cases since January of 2005. Liz has raised two successful daughters, enjoys U.S History, USC football, the great outdoors, and volunteers at her church.
Kristen Battaile received her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management of Computers and Information Systems.
She received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in Corporations and Civil Litigation. Kristen began her paralegal career in oil and gas law with the firm of Hanna and Morton in Los Angeles. After moving to San Diego County, she gained experience with civil litigation and family law while working as in independent contract paralegal. During this time, she also taught computer courses for the paralegal programs at both the University of San Diego and the University of California at San Diego. In 1993, her first text books for computer use in the law office were published by Little Brown and Company. Second editions of both books were published in 1997. Kristen began working with Mr. Johnson in 2006. She continues to speak at paralegal education seminars on legal ethics and computerized litigation support. Kristen has three daughters, and enjoys golf, genealogy, and USC football.
Ruth Reimnitz, Office Manager
Ruth Reimnitz is often the first person in our office to speak with each client. She works with our clients to organize information and paperwork including financial documents such as the Schedule of Assets & Debts (S.A.D’s) and the Income & Expense Declaration (I.E.D.’s). Ruth is currently enrolled in the ABA Paralegal program at Miramar and expects to graduate within the year with her Paralegal degree.
Ruth enjoys working out each day, hiking, road trips and singing.
